Construction underway at Black Rocks Golf Resort
Located on Belitung Island in Indonesia, the Black Rocks Golf Resort is already well into construction, with the front nine slated to open by the end of 2017. Spread around the site are huge boulder outcrops that we have carefully integrated into the course as strategic features and stunning backdrops to golf holes. The routing makes its way to the beach at the 15th hole with an unforgettable par 4 challenge, culminating on a green at water's edge. Several holes play over or along an existing marsh and/or around giant existing rock outcrops, as we worked to blend the golf with the natural beauty of the site. Construction will continue, with the back nine set to be completed by end of 2018.
